An arcade racer that tears up the rule book with innovative twin-stick controls, completely re-imagined driving mechanics and a huge roster of fiercely individual cars and tracks.
Inertial Drift's unique twin-stick control scheme gives you independent control over both steering and drifting, but how does the drift stick work?
[i]It's all thanks to the Drift Gyro!
Under the bonnet of every car there are two super-dense discs counter rotating at several thousand rpm. When you slam on the Drift Stick (right hand side!), power is diverted to the discs, tilting them off axis to create a torque on the car which kicks out the back end into a perfectly controlled slide. Here's a look at the Drift Gyro in action from Inertial Drift's Animated Intro:

"That doesn't make any sense!" we hear you say, well tell that to this physics teacher demonstrating the technique to his class:

Don't worry though, understanding gyroscopic motion is not necessary to play Inertial Drift - and using the Drift Stick itself couldn't be easier! Push it right to drift right, push it left to drift left - it's that simple! You'll be drifting and cornering like a pro in no time at all!
