Drawngeon Steam Trading Cards out now!

Hello, paper adventurers! I'm happy to announce that Steam Trading Cards are now available! Along with the Cards comes, of course, a Badge, Profile backgrounds, Emoticons, and a few cool things! Animated items are now available in Points Shop: an avatar, two frames, two stickers, and a profile background (and a mini version of it)! Hooray! It wasn't easy! I had a lot of variations for the cards and emoticons. There were even 11 cards, but I reduced them to 5. I wanted to give a “surprise” to the players: you know that you can open the card in full screen, right? So, I wanted to put on the picture of the card Chest, and in the opened version there you would meet ... Mimic! That's it! But Valve didn't allow that. The mini-picture has to match the large-picture, like a “zoomed” picture. For example, in the game “Broforce” (cool and fun pixel game by the way!). Well, that's okay - I redesigned my cards. An axe was drawn specifically for the card, but that card had to be discarded in the end, as well as the chest card. This was the set of cards originally. Such cards as Knight, Snake, Chest, Chicken, Axe and Bat were not included in the final set: And these were the options for emoticons, look how many! But Valve only allows up to 10. I wanted to hide the cat (he's hiding again!) in the emoticons: in the mini version only the head would be visible, and when you put the cursor over it, the whole cat would be shown! But as it turns out, Valve doesn't allow that either. Profile backgrounds have both old game graphics and brand new drawn pictures. Of the new ones, I can mention Miss Mushroom, Knight in Ruins and Village. For the idea I took the “Skill Tree” from the game, which grows as the hero evolves! It was a long search for a badge style. Valve also recommended to me that the foil badge should have a much different style, so I added this coloring to it. There were a couple of variations of the badge. How'd it turn out? Does it look cool enough? There's also a couple stickers waiting for you! Here's what the iterative progress of one of the animated stickers looked like: The animated profile background was made in GameMaker. Yes, in the game engine! The Drawngeon game itself is made in the same engine! Run to write a comment, put a thumbs up, and check out the Points Shop for new items! If you've played enough, you should already have the cards in your Steam inventory! Have a great gaming sessions!
