Hello to all the fans of building, modeling, and creating! In my previous Steam post, I shared with you the news about developing tools related to taking screenshots. True to my word, I've made considerable progress on this front, at least until the next "creative" idea sparks in my mind. Among various minor and medium-sized fixes, I've introduced three truly significant features:
Camera Presets:
Now, players can save multiple camera presets and seamlessly switch between them.
Logo Overlay:
Additionally, I've included the option to add logos to images. In the future, I might even allow importing custom logos/signatures, so each creator can uniquely mark their work.
Saving Screenshots:
Interestingly, what seemed like a straightforward feature turned out to be quite challenging to implement. After several days of relentless effort, just when everything seemed perfect, I encountered some "random" issues with saving images. Instead of the expected final frame, I was getting a… white rectangle. Thankfully, I persevered and managed to resolve the problem, as evidenced below: Looking ahead, my next milestone involves a complete revamp of the interface. While I've prioritized flexibility during development, it's now time to transform this "monster" into a user-friendly and visually pleasing experience. The preliminary sketches evoke a mix of optimism (for the final outcome) and concern (considering the additional work ahead). I'm hopeful that by next month, I'll have more exciting updates to share with all of you. Until then, take care, and I'll see you in the next Steam post!
