Devlog 1 & demo update

DETUNED

An eerie anti-rhythm hiden-object roguelike. Avoid a procedurally generated song. Look for pearls in a surreal wonderland. Experience hyperacusis from the comfort of your seat.

Ok, technically speaking, it’s not an updated version of the demo, but a mutilated version of the current project. But that’s too long for a title. While developing this game I made some changes, meaning the old demo doesn’t give you a proper idea of what you might find in the full game. For starters, the random song generation system has been remade from scratch. No more loading screens before every level and repeating sections. Furthermore, the “reverse songs” can now mix normal and reverse notes. All of these changes are reflected in the new demo, which contains around half of a normal run in the full game. Additionally, the game now has 8 alternate endings. They are determined by 3 special items, 2 of them can be obtained in the store but change the game’s difficulty. The third one is obtained in a trivia minigame, which means the status screen in the rain levels has an actual purpose besides looking cool.
