Development is still full steam ahead as we continue shaping the core of the game. We’re testing, refining, and figuring out what needs to be added, what’s working well, and what might not make the final cut. We’re bursting with ideas, and to be frank, we’d love to hear yours too! If you have suggestions for features or content you'd like to see, please don’t hesitate to share them with us in the comments below. Alright, so let’s show you what we’ve been up to! For today’s blog, we’re giving you a peek at what we’ve been working on over the last few weeks. Let’s dive in, shall we?
More pieces inside!
A few of us in the team have been deep inside research and going back in time to the medieval ages. We’ve been looking through manuscripts and other historical materials to find the perfect references for elements that we can add to our game. Lately, we looked at the jobs and occupations a typical medieval person might do back then and see how they were represented in marginalia and medieval art. Our thinking was that they could be a gold mine of pieces and elements for our game. Well, here are a few that we recreated and already added to Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts. What do you think?! Below, you’ll find an example of how the same elements can be recombined to produce entirely different pieces of marginalia. We’re working on many more “packs” and themes, but we don’t want to spoil all the surprises just yet. Stay tuned for more reveals in the future! Want to stay updated on all things Scriptorium?
