Demo version update announcement

Published

Hello players!

This update focuses on comprehensive optimization of the story experience, art details, and interaction logic, aiming to make your journey in Flower City more immersive and smooth. Here are the main updates:

I. Story Narrative Optimization

Logic Reshaping: The main storyline in the demo has been polished and its order adjusted for a smoother and more natural narrative.

Clarified Timeline: The timeline of events has been unified and clarified, with the addition of [Key Time] prompts. The presentation of flashbacks and flashforwards has been optimized, making the story logic easier to understand.

Text Refinement: Known text errors and unclear expressions have been corrected.

II. Enhanced Visual Experience: Better Fit for the Era

Refreshed Interface: The UI layout has been optimized, and the [Auto Play] button has been moved lower for easier use.

Scene Fit: Some scene art assets have been updated to better match the game's world and era setting.

III. Interaction and Functionality Improvements: More Seamless Operation

Enhanced AUTO Functionality: Activating the auto-play function will prevent interruptions from regular operations. However, due to engine limitations, there may be occasional pauses during auto-play. We are currently emailing the engine team seeking a solution.

Optimized Skip Functionality: A skip option has been added for some supplementary world-building content. Skipping will not affect the main storyline.

Visual Text Differentiation: Main storyline, flashbacks, and text from the [Shadow Eye] perspective will now be presented with distinctly different visual styles, helping you easily distinguish narrative layers.

IV. Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements

Several reported game anomalies have been fixed, improving overall stability.

We are always committed to refining the gaming experience. Thank you for your support and feedback; Huacheng is vibrant because of you.

V. Updated Intro Audio

Due to budget constraints, the intro audio was recorded by myself and a few friends who were willing to help. In the earlier version, I imitated the style of my university professor lecturing, resulting in a rather flat voice that some players mistook for AI voice acting. I've re-recorded it using a different method—please forgive me, as I'm not a professional voice actor.

Enjoy the game!
