Woop! Woop! We resolved our issues with the Steamworks account management and were finally able to push the Day One Patch to everyone!! :D
After looking at player data and feedback during the first 24 hours, we quickly put together the following changes:
- The monsters' aggression levels have been lowered and now cool down over time if you don't go into more lights or agitate them.
- Moths have been nerfed.
- Cryogenics timer setup has been completely reworked.
- Two new speaker broadcasts have been added to help with direction and immersion.
- The monsters don't get stuck in the ventilation to server room doorway.
- Crouch is now bound to both [i]Ctrl [/i]and [i]C[/i].
- V-sync setting added.
- "Speed Runner" achievement should work again.
- The broadcast in Engineering should only trigger when you first enter the Ship Hub and not on your way back.
Also, as we mentioned in the Beta branch announcement, we still have some issues with the Steam backend and have an open support ticket. Until that gets resolved, some of the achievements may not trigger or trigger incorrectly. These include: "Lore Freak" triggering too early, and "Pro Gamer" and "Better Safe Than Sorry" not triggering at all.
For those requesting customizable key bindings, we're working on it but we'll need to fix some other things first. Thanks for your patience! <3 On another note, while the game doesn't support Gamepad Controls for menus and data terminals yet, we have implemented it for the rest of the game interactions.
