330 overridden terminals, 460 player deaths, 280 monsters juked, 955 logs read, and over 540 motion sensors triggered in just the few first hours!! We're super grateful for all the engagement and feedback so far! <3
We have made a Day One Patch, but due to temporary Steam account issues, we can't update the main game at the moment. Nonetheless, we have still published the changes on the [b]Beta branch[/b] and made it accessible to everyone. To try them out, right-click on the game in your library, select [i]Properties[/i] and then [i]Betas[/i], and select "beta" in the list. Hope you enjoy them! Let us know what you think!
For the patch, we were able to quickly implement the following:
- The monsters' aggression levels have been lowered and now cool down over time if you don't go into more lights or agitate them.
- Moths have been nerfed.
- Cryogenics timer setup has been completely reworked.
- Two new speaker broadcasts have been added to help with direction and immersion.
- The monsters don't get stuck in the ventilation to server room doorway.
- Crouch is now bound to both Ctrl and C.
- V-sync setting added.
- "Speed Runner" achievement should work again.
- The broadcast in Engineering should only trigger when you first enter the Ship Hub and not on your way back.
Also, we have some issues with the Steam backend and have an open support ticket. Until that gets resolved, some of the achievements may not trigger or trigger incorrectly. These include: "Lore Freak" triggering too early, and "Pro Gamer" and "Better Safe Than Sorry" not triggering at all.
