First, we’d like to wish you a prosperous new year, and a joyful 2025 spent with your loved ones. On our end, we’ll continue working hard to ensure that the content we release in NosTale meets your expectations, making this year one of the most memorable in the game’s history. Our goal for 2025 is to enhance existing content while also bringing more fun with in-game features that our players cherish, rather than focusing solely on new systems. But before we dive into what’s coming, let’s take a look back at everything that’s happened over the past six months. [h2]Hardcore Raids[/h2] With the introduction of hardcore raids, we’ve released higher-difficulty content tailored to our more experienced players. These raids offer new challenges by presenting multiple harder versions of existing raids. We’re delighted with how this update has performed and the positive reception from the community. As always, we’ll continue to listen to your feedback and make adjustments where possible to ensure you have an engaging and challenging experience while playing them. [h2]International Server Merge and Summer Oasis Server[/h2] In August, we launched a new server designed to improve upon the usual new server you get in summer. Our goal was to provide better levelling and progression, numerous events, extra boosts, and establish INT-Valehir as the destination server to help address depopulation issues. Initially, there was some confusion, as players expected this server to resemble the NosFire event server introduced a few months earlier. To address this, we made changes by expanding the destination servers and enhancing exclusive features on the Summer Oasis server to better align it with the NosFire experience. These adjustments clearly increased interest in the server, but also discouraged some players from transferring to INT-Valehir. We’ve taken note of these outcomes, and you can read below to see what we have planned for the near future. [h2]Act 4 Revamp[/h2] The most anticipated update we had in store for you this year was the Act 4 overhaul and we hope you’re enjoying the changes we’ve made.Our goal was to revitalise this content, making it more engaging for both PvE and PvP players alike. We’ll be closely monitoring your feedback over the coming weeks to identify any adjustments that need to be made to ensure this update provides the best possible experience. [h1]What’s to Come in 2025[/h1] [h2]Balance Update and Quality of Life Adjustments[/h2] We regularly hear your requests for more balance updates, and we’re excited to deliver! With the next balance update, we are planning to focus on the Mystic Arts, Warrior and Sunchaser specialists. Additionally, we are going to bring some nice quality-of-life improvements inspired by your suggestions on our Discord server. These include individual skill bars and an improved tutorial for new players, which we believe will greatly enhance the experience for beginners. [h2]New NosFire Servers[/h2] With the NosFire servers in 2024, we received a lot of positive feedback about this kind of boosted server that made it possible for players to jump right into the higher-level experience, instead of starting from scratch. Building on that feedback, we’re excited to announce plans for a similar server in the first half of 2025. We’ll be making some adjustments to make it even more enjoyable, so stay tuned for more updates! [h2]Family Celestial Spire[/h2] One of the most engaging and unique pieces of content we released in recent years was Act 7’s Celestial Spire. In 2025, we want to explore this concept further, which is why we’re thrilled to announce a new version of the Celestial Spire designed for you to enjoy with your family. The specifics of this update are still being finalised, so keep an eye out for more details! [h2]Summer Raid[/h2] For some time now, we’ve been hearing your feedback about wanting new seasonal content beyond our regular events for Easter, Summer, Halloween, and others. With this in mind, we have planned with Entwell to work on new concepts for seasonal content in 2025. You’ll get to experience it this summer with an exciting new event raid. We’ll keep you posted! [h2]Server Merges[/h2] We are fully aware of the concerns raised by INT-Valehir players regarding the server’s decreased population. While we’ve tried various methods to attract more players to the server, we recognise that the wait has been long enough. As a result, we will proceed with the much-requested INT-Valehir merge. This server will join the second international cluster alongside DE-Alzanor and FR-Cosmos. The merge will create a server comparable in size to EU-Dragonveil, ensuring a stable population in the long term. This will provide players worldwide with two optimised servers for a better gameplay experience. Large servers come with significant technical challenges, which is why we’re taking the time to prepare thoroughly. Once the merge date approaches, we will provide you with all the details.
