Thank you to everyone who has supported this software. I honestly love Chameleon, and use it daily. It's a pleasure to code and work while absorbing a YouTube video or file in the background. That being said, it was obvious from the beginning that the biggest utility for most people would be using Netflix, Hulu or other paid subscription services and as I've explained in posts before, that isn't possible without the support of Google Widevine. We have done everything in our power to appeal to them, but to no avail. For that reason, and the fact that we have not met our own expectations with updates, that we feel it's no longer appropriate to ask for a donation to our non-profit for use of the software. From now on the project will be 100% free to use as well as continue to be open-source. There is an overdue update slated for next week where users can put in a custom URL, including localhost domains. For everyone who paid for the software in the past, we are offering free keys of The Devil's Calculator, Synonymy AND our upcoming paid game (which we are really excited about).
