Good evening, adventurers!!! It has been 1 week since Early Access of Broken Dungeon launched. I have already received some great input from some of you, and many of them are implemented in v0.5.1. As some of these features cannot be truly tested by myself (i.e. Windows Mixed Reality support), the current version of 0.5.0.1 will remain the standard. Players who wish to try out the latest changes simply need to opt into the Beta by right-clicking their game in Steam. Then go to Properties > BETAS > v0.5.1_beta. If I do not receive any messages regarding bugs, I will set v0.5.1 as the standard version of the game when the next Beta version is created. Change log: (v0.5.1) Additions: - It appears the local vampire coven have been a bit too busy. On-hit blood effects can now be disabled in the options found in the Title scene. (The weapon enchantment "Bleed" will still display dripping blood effects, as will monsters currently affected by it.) - The local Adventurer's guild has received a request to re-engineer the first floor of the dungeon. As such, hallway chunks #11, #12 and #13 have been added, and the 1st floor of the dungeon is now guaranteed to be much smaller and symmetrical to allow adventurers an easier time to buff up before truly diving into the depths. Changes: - (Misc) The options save file has been updated to accommodate the new "toggle blood" setting. - (Misc) Tips cards 9 and 10 have been updated to accommodate new Windows Mixed Reality input support. - (Bug Fix) Re-positioned torches in the large room within hallway chunk #9 to fix the issue of the center ceiling and floor not rendering light due to too many light sources. - (Bug Fix) Removed 1 torch, and re-positioned the other within the Title scene to avoid the floor and ceiling not rendering lighting from the VR player's magic prior to the game starting due to too many light sources. - (Misc) Procedural dungeon generation for floor 1 has been changed to use new dungeon chunks 11, 12 and 13 to force symmetrical dungeon designs. Dungeon generation after floor 1 remains the same as it formerly was. Other: - Windows Mixed Reality support has been added. ================================================================== As always, please feel free to offer your suggestions, critiques, and requests in the Steam forum for the game.
