[b]List of changes in the demo version of the game:[/b]
- Added a new mechanic for disassembling items into materials. You can disassemble anything that in theory can consist of simple resources. Unneeded weapons, clothes, pouches, etc.
- Obtaining new recipes. Some items can be created only after obtaining them or studying the corresponding blueprint. For example, a small and two-handed axe must first be found, and then the crafts for them will be opened.
- Level system - you will get some experience for killing enemies, fishing, hunting, crafting new items, completing quests, etc. With each new level new crafts will be opened, and skill points will be given, which can be distributed where you see fit.
- Search for resources with a metal detector. You can buy this item from a traveling merchant and use it to find various metal objects in the ground. Finding the location of useful loot can be determined by the frequency of crackling of the device. Common loot is ordinary metal, nails, wires, parts and other small things. Occasionally you can find buried iron boxes with hidden interesting things. You can also find fishing hooks and magnets near water bodies, and shell casings and cartridges near military camps.
- Improved the crafting menu, showing the stats of weapons, armor, and other items in the description.
- Added a section with filters to the craft menu, with which you can sort the blueprints by category. This will make it much more convenient to search for the desired craft.
- When fighting infected, with a 2.5% chance instead of calmly getting their asses kicked, they may dodge sideways. Also, this flip of the ears will occur after every fifth missed hit.
- Added enhanced attacks for almost all types of melee weapons. To make a powerful strike, you simply hold down the attack button until enough energy is stored. A charged attack takes 30% of your current stamina, but if it is more than 10% of your maximum stamina.
- The new weapon-tool is a sickle. Its primary task is to cut grass, which can be useful in crafting.
- Finalized the handbook. Changed the font to a more pleasant font, and completely redesigned the game bestiary. As before, a new page opens after killing a mob. Now the guide will display the characteristics of enemies, their immunity to effects, and other information. On the pages appeared lists of items that can fall from a particular mob. Each of these slots can be opened and read more detailed information.
- Added a skill tree with several character pumping branches that can help in your survival.
- The system of day and night. Time runs its course, and day replaces night. But in addition, you can sleep in a tent or sleeping bag to fast-forward time. The loading screen will show exactly the terrain you are in, and also change depending on some objects.
- Increased infected and decreased sanity if you are in total darkness. Your sanity scale will gradually decrease, and when it reaches zero, you will start hallucinating unkillable shadow entities that will kill you for sure. To restore sanity, you can use neuroleptics, or find a light source. You can also upgrade your sanity with special skills.
- Added diversity to the landscape. Hills, mountains, caves.
- Added homemade bombs and grenades, molotov cocktails.
- Updated the job menu, making it more functional and pretty. Also replaced the main interface sounds.
- Added freezing overlay.
