After you have downloaded the updated version of the Somber Echoes Demo the game should automatically switch the Steam Deck Mode under Settings > Render and Resolution to ON. If not, you should be able to turn it on manually. The Steam Deck Mode will output correct resolution of the screen, set the quality to Medium and lock the framerate to 45 FPS. Also V-sync is recommended for Steam Deck. This should provide a stable player experience. If you prefer the unlocked framerate, you are still free to set change it.
