This update adds the use of a curvature graph system to which this fundamentally changes the way tree it's curvature system works. If you wish to use the previous version you can select "apr-24" from the beta branch.
• Curvature Graphs, this gives you more control over a parameters behaviour.
• Additional random +/- values to parameters.
• All leaf "stem" parameter controls have moved into the same group.
• High-res shadows has been added to the options window.
• Set seek direction added to tools menu, this sets the seek sun orientation to that of the camera useful for creating wind swept trees.
• Added checkbox for enabling/disabling branch flare welding (under the flare group).
• Added checkbox for enabling/disabling inheritance of length/radius under shape for branches/leaves/
meshes.
• Added checkbox for enabling/disabling vertex indexing added to trunk/branches, used for flat shading.
• Fixed leaf smoothing orientation for normal's, was not smoothing from the correct position after the first leaf was generated.
• Some improvements made to meshes.
- You can now add up to 2000 mesh objects per-node to your tree.
- High poly models imports are now partitioned to fit the limited vertex buffer size making them loadable.
- Texture slots are now shared, so partitioned models are treated as a single model.
- Vertex index buffer size ignored on .fbx and .obj exports making hi poly exports consist of fewer meshes.
