The Curse Of Grimsey Island

The Curse of Grimsey Island is a futuristic detective game in two parts. Collect evidence, find motives, construct a timeline, and solve one of the greatest mysteries in modern times. Why are so many notable individuals disappearing across the world?

Two linked parts:

The Curse Of Grimsey Island

July 12, 2075, a rare homicide occurs off the coast of Grimsey Iceland. It's a case involving revenge and ambiguous loss - when a friend or family member has gone missing. But this case is just the start.

There are four unique crime scenes. For each, you'll need to find the Perpetrator, Motive, and Weapon or Instrument. Submit your findings to the District Attorney to see if you've solved the case.

Missing at Bayou Sauvage

June 6, 2066, a group of notable individuals have disappeared. Among them, Beth Bell, a former physicist and whistleblower. The only witness, Rhett "Wolf" Allen, an Army veteran, was found in a state of distress. Take to the swamps of Bayou Sauvage and uncover what happened.

Piece together the events of Beth's disappearance on a Timeline. You'll uncover both Beth's and Rhett's actions.

Nanodeck

You'll play as a Remote Forensics Investigator who solves cases in a Nanodeck - a place where crime scenes are reconstructed to the smallest detail.

Start with seemingly straightforward cases. As you investigate you'll discover there's much more to these cases than meets the eye. Dive deeper and figure out why so many people have disappeared without a trace over years.

LAWD

The Remote Forensics Bureau has created LAWD. A sophisticated Land, Air, and Water Drone capable of investigating both above and below water. You'll pilot LAWD throughout your investigations.

Finalize Investigations

For each case, you'll provide your conclusions to the authorities. You'll be presented with headlines of how your investigation was concluded and how your findings affected the people involved. You'll also receive a grade on your investigative efforts.
