A short horror game where you keep a spacecraft operational as it reaches Venus by completing tasks and repairs.
SIGNAL LOST is a short cosmic-horror exploration and management game that draws heavy inspiration from the fear of the unknown.
Immerse yourself in the role of a doomed astronaut, trying to survive in the vastness of space.
Use a deep, tactile interface to repair damage and keep your escape vessel’s systems going.
Dodge micro-meteor showers and use a command-driven interface to complete tasks.
Experience a grim but uplifting narrative about surviving in an inhospitable, deadly universe.
Set in a tightly cramped, quickly thrown together spacecraft, you must travel through space to reach Venus, repairing malfunctions and completing tasks as you go on your journey.
You must use the instruments in the ship to complete tasks and repair malfunctioning systems. Each instrument is unique, so make sure to pay attention to the information it's providing you with! But that is not enough, since your systems are prone to malfunctions, you will need to maintain them by physically interacting with them.
You will be required to multitask, be patient and efficient, but above all you must be brave.
In the near future, mankind has taken to the stars, plundering the Solar System to satisfy our ever-growing needs and exploding population.
But with great power and expansion, comes great cutting of corners. As Earther companies rush into space, they begin to hire barely-trained laborers and launching them into the void using increasingly more experimental, unsafe technologies. These people are called spacers; and they are working the best paying, but also most dangerous job in history.
You’re a spacer, on your first trip on the ticket of Caliban Solar Industries, the largest mining corporation in history. Your ship, the “Dear Abigail,” suffers a catastrophic failure and falls apart halfway to Venus, past the point of no return. You and your Captain are the only survivors, stuck inside a pair of barely-maintained escape vessels. Will you manage to reach the relative safety of Venus and the base of Omphalos-1…or will you die trying?
