STORY
Remorses is a slowly building, heart-aching journey, with tension that builds gradually, focused on an immersive atmospheric experience.
The year is 1991 in Rivervalley, Lakota Territory. It is infamous for its history and missing people recently. Not long ago, rumors of witchcraft began to spread. Rivervalley has long history of false legends before.
Play as Jake Lepistow, an investigator from Beaver Hills, Minnesota. Chasing legends and supernatural occurrences without ever having to face consequences. When a series of strange disappearances and hints of witchcraft reached him, he got his eyes on his next investigation. A made up story of an abandoned Westbrook’s Inheritance Mansion somewhere in the Rivervalley forest. The townspeople avoid it, terrified of its reputation and the rumors of a vengeful witch.
