The Beginning of the Story — Reformers with the power to fuse with monsters!

In this war-torn era, on a continent overrun by monsters, the fragmented imperial powers see the nobles of Prokade Castle and the Stiake Kingdom embroiled in a series of conflicts over territory and influence. To secure victory, the aristocracy requires soldiers of exceptional prowess on the battlefield. These soldiers often possess the unique ability to 'fight in alliance' with monsters, and have come to be known as 'Reformers'. With the involvement of these Reformers, the nature of warfare has shifted from human-versus-human conflicts to battles where humans and monsters fight side-by-side against other humans, creating an overwhelming, one-sided advantage in the theater of war.

Follow the legend and lift the veil on the past!

King of Prokade Castle realized that the wars among the nobles had begun to threaten his own authority. He dispatched three of the kingdom's most powerful knights - Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo di Lodovico, and Raphael Sanzio. These three knights led massive armies to quell the conflicts.

Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael were all formidable Reformers within the kingdom. However, only da Vinci was the inheritor of 'The Last Supper', possessing the ultimate power to command legions of monsters. For a time, the combined forces of Prokade Castle's human troops and monster legions, led by da Vinci, swept across the continent, meeting little resistance. The King and nobles of the Stiake Kingdom ultimately surrendered and swore allegiance to the King of Prokade Castle. With the war concluded, the three knights of Prokade Castle returned home in triumph.

The calm before the storm, and the battle is on the verge of breaking out!

At the victory banquet, the king conferred honors upon da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Yet even then, misgivings began to stir within him. The king and his nobles had all witnessed da Vinci's unimaginable power, which the king now saw as a potential threat to his rule. The nobles, whispering poisonous counsel at his side, urged the king to find a way to eliminate da Vinci and the others.

As expected, within a few years after the conflict was quelled, Michelangelo was framed for colluding with the Stiake Kingdom and exiled. Raphael was demoted on trumped-up charges. Only da Vinci's whereabouts remained unknown. Subsequently, the king issued orders for the widespread purge of other Reformers who possessed the ability to ally with monsters. In short order, anyone with Reformer heritage faced systematic eradication.

With this perceived threat removed, the ambitions of the nobility began to surge once more. A new war became inevitable, and Prokade Castle was once again plunged into a bloody conflict.

And thus our story begins... on the distant Halesia Island, far beyond the borders of Prokade Castle.
