Outbreak: Shades of Horror throws you into the beginning hours of a waking nightmare. As citizens of Cypress Ridge succumb to infection, they lose all sense of humanity, only knowing their hunger for flesh. Explore the dilapidated streets of the city solo or with up to three friends via online or local split screen cooperative play, choosing from a variety of survivor characters each with their unique quirks and abilities.
Navigating the 1999 city in the midst of total panic is no easy task, but the survivors must push through if they want to make it out alive. Manage your supplies and limited inventory carefully while fighting and dodging the infected. Find alternate routes to safety through the changed streets and buildings, using your investigative skills, scattered notes, and your wit to progress. The zombies are hungry...and they're coming after you and your team from every direction.
And remember; it's not just about you. Keep each other safe and healthy, or suffer the consequences of your fellow survivors looking to you for their next meal!
