Midway has not occurred and the Japanese attempt to invade New Hebrides.
Both sides commit their big carrier fleets for the control of these strategic island.
Shall it be THE decisive battle sought by Yamamoto and Nimitz ?
Advanced Fog of WarThis paid module offers more suspense as enemy losses, and the score remains uncertain until the end. You may get false reports on:
- Observed enemy ships' classes
- The damage inflicted on enemy air units
- The amount of hits inflicted by aircraft on enemy ships along with the resulting observed damage, including major fire, list, crippled, and sinking.
The observed state of enemy naval units may only be updated:
- On a new battle
- On a new detection
- At the end of the game.
Enemy air losses outside combat (night, fuel, etc…) remains concealed until the end of the game
Factors inducing inaccurate reports:
- Bad weather
- Confused bombers
- Japanese observers.
Factors favoring accuracy:
- Shadowed TF
- Previously observed ships
- Air-to-sea combat
- Surviving bombers
