Created for authors, by an author...
The NB Book Binder is a tool for packaging your literary works for distribution on platforms hitherto unavailable to authors, or for your own gratification. Import your book(s) and associated images, and quickly output a product replete with a feature-rich executable that combines a balance of the reader's preferences and the author's intended experience.
The NB Book Binder is not intended to be yet another ebook format, but rather, an alternative method of packaging your works entirely, allowing you to create a new platform for your creative endeavours.

Binder Features
  • A guided process for converting your works, requiring no programming knowledge.
  • Individual tools for modifying existing packages.
  • Built-in source file sanitization; provide it with an html file, and the binder will try to extract useable data from even the most tag-rich word processor outputs.
  • Direct control over formatting; tired of guessing whether or not a line break will actually display, or whether dramatic page breaks will translate adequately into a digital format with no true pages? With the Binder, page structure is defined by the author, from alignment to page breaks, and pages actually exist.
  • Automated table of contents creation; mark a page with a simple instruction keyword, and the Binder will add it to the TOC.
  • Support for book collections - current maximum of 20 books per package.
  • Image support - insert .png images wherever you want, with transparency supported.
  • Audio book support.
  • No additional fees or restrictions. Bind and distribute as many packages as you want.

Reader Features
  • A simple and unobtrusive UI, controlled by mouse, keyboard or even controller.
  • Runs on the Steam Deck, with a "big font" mode designed for the Deck's screen.
  • Audio book support with automatic page progression.
  • Support for custom colour themes, along with a list of preset colour themes.
  • Satisfying yet simple screen fade effects, to mimic the physical turning of pages without distraction.
  • An optional passage-by-passage display method, fading in each passage with the press of a button, improving reader concentration.
  • A bookmark button that will not only remember the page you were on, but the precise passage you had reached (if using the passage sequencing).
  • Support for reader creation of personal collections
