Hot Wax is a falling-block puzzle game where you place candles and then light them up to create slowly-unfolding chain reactions in a gloomy temple built to some unholy creature.
Play in one of five game modes: in Ritual reach 66.666 score to summon the dungeon's god, in Penance clear 200 candle blocks, in Eternal play until the boards fills up, in Glory place 40 candles and light as many as you can with just one flame, and in Slow-Burn train to mastery as the speed won't increase.
A run typically lasts a couple of minutes. The game can be played with either a keyboard or with a game controller.
