ESCAPE SITE 13Notification on the Risks of Exploring "Collection Item 229"
Despite utilizing all available methods, the Research Institute has failed to comprehend "Site 13." All we have to rely on are the millions of action records brought back by Agent Liu Zhiming. Each record, akin to messages in bottles from Indian Island, tells a different truth. According to Liu, "All records are true, for this structure is eternally His armor."
Do not doubt; Liu Zhiming never exaggerates. Now, the task falls to us, the Communications Department.
ESCAPE SITE 13 is a side-scrolling adventure game inspired by SCP containment lore, continuing the narrative of SCP-1730 within an original universe. Players assume the role of Investigator Liu Zhiming, who explores the newly emerged structure known as Site 13, collecting documents, solving puzzles, and uncovering the site's dark past. The game’s rich lore and detailed documents ensure that even players unfamiliar with the original SCP Foundation material can fully engage with the story.
Following a landslide triggered by torrential rain, a massive mountain in a remote area collapses, revealing a vast structure hidden within. The Research Institute names this structure the "Hanging Coffin" and dispatches several teams to investigate. However, these teams are incapacitated by unknown memetic anomalies before they can even approach.
In response, the Institute assembles the "Yu Gong" team, immune to these anomalies, to investigate and rescue the missing teams. Unfortunately, this team's combat experience is lacking, and their sole advantage lies in the player-controlled team leader—codename "Liezi," Liu Zhiming.
During the investigation, the team encounters horrifying anomalies such as the "Leech Boy" and inexplicable spatial distortions. What fate awaits the team, and what triggered these disasters?
