Divination is a desktop-based divination tool that uses the sixty-four hexagrams from the I Ching to interpret the good or bad fortune of future events.
Divination is believed to have been invented by Fuxi and is known as the Fuxi Eight Trigrams: "From the Taiji comes Yin and Yang; Yin and Yang produce the Four Symbols; the Four Symbols produce the Eight Trigrams; the Eight Trigrams determine fortune or misfortune, giving rise to great achievements." In the Zhou Dynasty, King Wen expanded this system into the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching.
Do not disrespect divine powers.
Silently focus on your query before divination. One query per divination; the same question cannot be asked repeatedly in a short period.
Maintain focus during divination. Avoid distractions such as talking, watching TV, or thinking of unrelated matters.
Do not pause midway through the divination process and then continue later.
Avoid suspicion, greed, or fear.
Divination is only for predicting future events, not past ones.
