Mars Exodus is an open-ended survival sandbox game about surviving in a dying Martian city.

You are not special in this world: you are hungry, you are thirsty, you are dirty.

This game is inspired by great titles like Kenshi and Deus Ex. The player can carve out their own story, and every playthrough is different in this open-ended sandbox.

The Year is 2048

Mars is being run into the ground by a dystopian megacorp called BetterLife. BetterLife controls daily life through labor, food, and policing. You must survive in this cruel world when all odds are against you.

Play your way

Kill your enemies, betray your friends, steal food from the poor. Immerse yourself in this dark world and decide whether you want to be loyal to BetterLife, loyal to your faction, or loyal to no one.

Design your own Character

Male, female, tall, short, old, or young - design your character and define their starting skills in this world.

You are not the Chosen One

Nothing makes you special, you are mortal just like everyone else. But  hard effort and a bit of luck might make your playthrough very special.

Obey BetterLife

Obey your daily training duties at the BetterLife terminals to qualify for soy rations. Or look for your own food if you're adventurous.

Build your Base

Use your crafted and gathered building blocks to construct a base to protect yourself, your squad, or your entire faction. Craft new weapons and tools to make survival easier.

Join a Faction

12 factions to join - from cheese-eating aristocrats to militant authoritarians. You decide who will be friend and who will be foe. Grow your faction by recruiting citizens or even starting families.

Develop your Skills

Grappling hook, double jumps, ground pound, and air dashes are your friends when moving through the city.

Science Simulation

Watts, rads, wind speed - consider where to build your wind turbine, whether you should really stand near the nuclear generator, and if you have enough power to get through the night.

True Indie

No publisher. No investors. No suits telling me what to do - just me making the game for you.
