⚠️ Compatibility Notice
The classic BeachHead games were originally built more than 20 years ago using DirectDraw, a legacy graphics system no longer fully supported by modern Windows versions. To ensure better compatibility, this release includes DDrawCompat, a widely used open-source DirectDraw wrapper.
What You Should Know
These games were designed for 4:3, 640×480 resolutions. Depending on your monitor, you may see pillarboxing, stretching, or minor scaling artifacts.
Although DDrawCompat significantly improves stability and rendering on modern PCs, some systems may still require small adjustments, such as disabling fullscreen optimizations or running in windowed mode.
