Assetto Corsa EVO redefines the realism and features of one of the most popular multiplatform driving simulations ever developed. Featuring cars and tracks from different classes spanning across years of motoring history.

EARLY ACCESS 3 CONTENT (INCLUDING MULTIPLAYER)

Assetto Corsa EVO’s 0.3 Early Access release introduces the first multiplayer step, 9 new vehicles and two circuits, alongside a brand-new tyre model as well as performance, graphics, gameplay and UI improvements.

About Assetto Corsa EVO

Assetto Corsa EVO raises the bar of realism that has made the franchise one of the most popular driving simulations of the last decade even higher.

As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world. Each vehicle is reproduced through Kunos in-house physics and graphic engine simulating mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance, combined with the fidelity of the circuits created using Laserscan technology.

Throughout Early Access, you will experience a continuously expanding range of vehicles, tracks, and game modes, evolving towards our full 1.0 launch.

With the launch of a new KUNOS Simulazioni proprietary, high-performance photorealistic engine, VR and triple screen support have become first-class features and the new mathematical model meticulously simulates asphalt performance in different dynamic weather conditions that guarantees an authentic and realistic experience which will redefine the standards that have made Assetto Corsa globally renowned.

Graphics - Main Improvements

Alongside a further hardware optimization step and overall improvements, these aspects of the graphics engine have been the focus for Update 3 of the Assetto Corsa EVO Early Access program:

  • Improved Dynamic Global Illumination.

  • Optimization of GPU and CPU performance, with most noticeable improvements being in crowded scenes, like multiplayer races.

  • Drastic reduction of VRAM usage, which was causing most of the low framerate corner cases.

  • General enhancement of post processing effects, like motion blur.

UI - new additions and improvements focused on racing ability

Besides various quality of life improvements in, the user interface of Assetto Corsa EVO’s 3rd Early Access release is bringing the MFD (Multi-Function-Display) to the next step. Now all players can assign the buttons they prefer for the MFD page cycling, and benefit from:

  • The real-time leaderboard view, particularly useful for observing live gaps

  • The official leaderboard, which returns valid best laps and per lap-based gaps

  • Input settings page, which allows players to set their FFB, wheel or gamepad settings

  • The Multi-Function Display will be enriched over time, during the Early Access development.

Also, the speedometer, tyre and gear widgets have received attention, with the addition of useful information such as the Pit Limiter indication.
