Assault Commander Rearmed is a turn-based military strategy game played on a hexagonal map. This game features isometric 3D graphics, a player profile system, research system, and improved artificial intelligence.
- Play the campaign's 32 single player missions on 6 difficulty levels.
In the game, you command an army with the goal of capturing the enemy’s headquarters or destroying all enemy units. As you progress through the campaign, you will face larger maps and command more units and buildings.
- Use infantry, tanks, artillery, ships, and other units of modern warfare.
As you advance, you’ll be able to build a greater variety of units. Alongside ground units, you’ll eventually access fighter planes and warships.
- Improve properties of your units and buildings by researching upgrades.
In the game, every building and unit can be upgraded. You’ll collect coins during missions, which can be used for research upgrades, enhancing unit firepower or the production capacity of certain buildings.
- Request reinforcements from the central supply.
In later missions, reinforcements can be requested, though only occasionally. On higher difficulty levels, this may be essential to keep up with the enemy’s superior forces.
- Build and use packages to temporarily improve your units in tactical game.
By building and deploying power-ups, you can give your units a temporary advantage, which can be useful during operations. You can repair your units on the battlefield or boost their defensive capabilities.
- Compete against other players through online leaderboards.
Your campaign progress is assessed in various aspects, which are then compiled into online leaderboards.
- Try out a collection of 10 separate maps against the computer or your hotseat opponent.
Playing on stand-alone maps does not affect your profile, so you can freely practice, try out most units, or play against a friend.
- The game holds complex challenges.
Completing the campaign and tackling maps on extreme difficulty to earn the Assault Commander Excellence award can provide over 50 hours of gameplay.
Steam version is playable without any microtransactions or in-app purchases.
