With the announcement trailer for You Have A Delivery now live, we thought it was the perfect time to share our very first devlog with you. This is a significant milestone for us—both the excitement of developing a new game and the joy of sharing the story behind it. [b]Where Did the Idea Come From?[/b] After completing our first game, we started brainstorming ideas for our next project. We’ve always drawn inspiration from the kinds of games we love to play ourselves. As a team, we’re big fans of AAA FPS action games, and naturally, we dreamed of creating something in that vein. One day, a teammate excitedly said, “Why don’t we make our own Call of Duty?” The idea sounded amazing, but we quickly came back to reality. With a team of just three people, tackling a project of that scale seemed a bit out of reach. So, we decided to narrow the scope and simplify our ideas. That’s when we started exploring concepts that resonated with our sense of humor and cultural background. As Turkish developers, we’re familiar with the urban legend in Turkey about simit (bagel) sellers secretly being undercover agents. It’s a story that has turned into a running joke over time, and we couldn’t stop laughing at the thought. But what if that legend were true? That’s how [b]You Have A Delivery[/b] was born—a fast-paced FPS where a secret agent operates under the cover of a bagel seller. [b]The Story[/b] New York is in chaos, its streets overrun by three powerful criminal organizations: the Irish Mafia, the Mexican Cartel, and the Russian Mob. As these groups tear apart the city’s political and social fabric, higher authorities decide it’s time to step in. The mission? Activate a sleeper agent known only by the codename “Agent.” (Yes, that’s their entire name.) But this isn’t your typical agent. By day, they sell bagels on the streets of New York, blending in with the crowd. Behind the scenes, however, they’re a deadly operative, trained to take down mafia bosses and restore order to the city. Expect plenty of action, humor, and a dash of chaos along the way. [b]What Kind of Game Can You Expect?[/b] You Have A Delivery is inspired by the action-comedy films we loved growing up, like Men in Black and Rush Hour. It’s a fast-paced FPS that mixes intense action with a lighthearted, humorous tone. We’re not afraid to break the fourth wall, make you laugh, and then throw you into a brutal combat scenario.
