Happy Tuesday everyone! When you are designing a video game, figuring out typography, usually, isn’t a priority — you’d be surprised to hear that good lettering can make or break the aesthetic of your game. Readability, Aesthetics and Purpose are some of the main aspects of the logo to correctly portray the image of the game. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40236928/fe79c833f783ccf33a37419a8a1e49862757deab.png[/img] Throughout the game Aurora, our main character, will be sketching and taking notes, so it was important to have the logo that looked like a cover for her notebook. There were a lot of attempts to create the unique look for the logo. The cursive and overall shape were chosen to resemble diary entries written by hand during a journey. A Game’s logo will, visually, let your player’s know what type of game it is - the Flawless Abbey’s logo portrays the mysterious and intricate adventure.
