Hi, and I apologize for not updating my development blog more often ^^;
Yakiniku Party
First, I want to tell about the marvelous dinner yakiniku party with Eroolia (kokouta) casts! Not all could come due to the schedule but it was really fun!

It's really exciting to work with them, I feel as if I really went into the Eroolia's world ːleeaː ːreginaː
Learning Unity
So yes, I've spent my last few days in learning unity and it's not easy as it's very different with the engine I used before.
First, I'm thinking to use "Utage" which is quite famous in Japanese visual novel community. This engine though, doesn't use text files, but it's excel based. Which means, the programming method is quite different with the method I know so far. It enables me to try many new effects, but there's also some issue I got as the glittering CG I like might not be as easy to produce as before. I still need to learn a lot about it.
There are various reasons behind this engine change, beside Adobe Air has been transferred to Harman and the price could be expensive depends on my earning, the previous engine also had a poor support for game controller, which, if possible I'd like to support better in future.
New Game Resolution
I'm thinking to change my game resolution to 1920x1080 (HD) from now on. It's a lot bigger than the previous ones, which means might cause the file size a lot bigger. Still, I'm considering to keep the windowed mode to 1280x720, since if the windowed mode is the same HD size, the game will still occupy the whole monitor screen and it would be hard to see other program's windows. Not sure yet if this is doable though, as I'm still learning to use unity ^^;
