The area is accessible on already existed saved games, but you will have to wait for it to randomly appear which typically takes 5 days if you are past day 50. Other features of the update include: [list] [*] Appearance of journal pages, e-mails, and skill books has been slightly reduced in order to make the game feel less front-loaded.
