Hey all!
Thank you so much to everyone who played our demo to date, wishlisted the game, and interacted with us in any form - it's been quite the whirlwind!
First of all: in order to make sure as many of you who downloaded our demo but did not have time to play it during Next Fest has a chance to play it, we'll keep the demo up for a while longer - at least until the end of this week, possibly until the end of the month. We know the demo has quite a bit of content in it, which might take you a little while to finish :)
Want to keep it open longer? Give us feedback and bug reports either in the Community Forums or, even better, in our [url=https://discord.gg/EpW69MP]Discord[/url] where we can chat with you directly, so we know someone is still playing!
Secondly: [b]update 0.8.4.1 of the demo is now out![/b] It contains both bug fixes and some QOL fixes, so do make sure to download it if you can. Your saves should be unaffected. Here's a short changelog:
- A fix to the dreaded black screen of doom bug that was reported several times to us. Thanks to RedBlazin in our DIscord for sticking around and letting us find the solution!
- The slowdown when nearing an exit (in maps with exits) is now fixed.
- Potion of Celerity and Speed Rune now work as intended.
- Various map fixes to prevent spawning or getting stuck in impassable places.
- Interactables are now given a much more visible glow on approach.
- Visual fixes in dungeons, including fixes to treetops during nighttime levels, shadows, rendering order etc.
- Fixes to the UI to stop overflow of text.
- The crafting UI now displays Craft first and Upgrade second (as Crafting is much more common than Upgrading).
- Fixed a CTD when returning to camp after the Moonglades.
We have also for now disabled the rumble effect on controllers, as we suspect it may have caused the character to sometimes stop moving during gameplay.
