What to expect in the full game

Deep Space Armada

Buy and equip spaceships, configure their combat behavior and defeat enemy fleets in Deep Space Armada, a tactical auto battler that tests your wits to outsmart the enemy.

Hi everyone, I hope you are having fun with the demo. As you most like have already noticed, some ships and weapon components are locked and only available in the full game. But that is not all. Here is a more detailed overview of what you can expect in the full game:
More Ships
The full game will feature 3 small, 3 medium and 3 large ships. The ships that are not available in the demo will provide new options for your fleet composition. You think the Devastator is tanky? You have seen nothing.
More components
This is quite obvious, but still: The new components will add more variety with regards to how you can design your ships. How about a large laser that pierces through smaller ships? Or a weapon that can briefly incapacitate the enemy? Don't worry, your enemies will have access to those new fancy toys as well.
New Combat Behavio(u)r: Support
This is teased in the demo but not actually available for use: The support combat behavior. So far, you can only build assault ships, i.e. ships that fire at your enemies to destroy them. That is all fun, but even the biggest damage dealers might need some support to perform even better. Aside from the obvious repair mechanic, which is already in use by the enemy Hammer ship, expect mechanics like shields and missile interception.
New Enemies
The enemies featured in the demo are just a hand full of those that you will face in the full game. The ones that you do not know yet are bigger, better and meaner. While in the demo I kind of rely on spamming ships to increase the difficulty, the new enemies will be of higher quality and start replacing the ones you know as you defeat more and more waves. So expect less enemy spamming and therefore higher quality enemies.
Challenge Waves
At first I wanted to call them boss waves, but at the end I decided to make them optional and offer better rewards. As the name suggest, those are exceptionally difficult waves that appear every 10 waves. Aside from unique enemies they also offer other (hopefully) interesting scenarios, like fighting a copy of your own fleet. You will always have the choice if you want to accept the challenge or fight a regular wave of enemies instead. However, each challenge can only be attempted once, so you better mean it. I hope this gives you a better idea of what you can expect in the full game. If you want to chat, feel free to join the Discord server.
