Hello, Squads!
This is the Seal: WHAT the FUN Dev Team.
It has been a little over two months since the Early Access release of Seal: WHAT the FUN on May 3rd.
During this time, we have received a considerable amount of support and feedback from players. Our dev team has taken all feedback to heart and is dedicated to continually improving the game based on it.
Therefore, we would like to give an overlook of the changes and improvements of the game systems that will be included in the upcoming August update.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Introducing the Point System
Many players have expressed a desire for faster gameplay and shorter overall play time. Based on this feedback, we decided to introduce a point system to the game.
Unlike the current Knockout System, where players are eliminated if they fail to reach a certain goal for each round, the Point System allows players to participate in all rounds.
Players will now earn “Round Rank” points based on their performance in each round.
These points will be used to calculate the “Total Rank” of each player, which will update after each round to show the current ranking.
Once all rounds are complete, the final ranking is determined based on the accumulated points. The player with the highest total rank is the winner.
2. Suspension of the Team Play Mode
We have received considerable feedback indicating that the team play mode in Round 2 is perceived as unfair. As a result, we have decided to suspend the Team Play mode. All rounds will now proceed in Solo Play mode.
The Team Play mode will make a comeback in future events or in another form, so we kindly ask players who enjoy it to keep a close eye on upcoming content updates.
3. Modification of the Win Conditions for the Capture the Crown Round
With the introduction of the points system and the suspension of the Team Play mode, we have modified the win conditions for the Capture the Crown Round.
From now on players holding the crown will earn “Acquisition Points” and “Retention Points”, based on the duration for which the crown is held. If the crown is stolen, the “Acquisition Points” will be deducted and transferred to the new crown holder.
By placing more emphasis on acquiring and retaining the crown we are striving to satisfy all players with more dynamic gameplay.
4. Addition of Steam Items
One of the latest Steam trends is the rise of games that encourage the trading of items obtained during gameplay. We have decided to incorporate this feature into Seal: WHAT the FUN as well.
By completing daily challenges, players can earn Steam items that can be traded on the Steam market. These items can be viewed in the Steam inventory.
This feature is meant to enhance the fun of collecting trading items, and we hope that you, the players, enjoy it!
Our dev team deeply appreciates your support and positivity. We wish to give back to our awesome player base by constantly researching new ways to improve the game and make it more enjoyable for you!
We hope you continue to look forward to the evolution of Seal: WHAT the FUN!
Thank you once again.
Look forward to seeing more on our official communities.
