This is your chance to be among the first to try out the game, and for us, it’s a great opportunity to gather your feedback and improve it even more. In this post, we’ll explain what will be available in the playtest and what features we plan to add in the future. This mode will be the starting point for testing the game and we’re excited to hear your feedback and impressions. [h2]What are we planning to test?[/h2] During the playtest, we’ll be gradually adding new features and improvements for you to try out. We’re already actively working on several key areas that will soon be available for testing. However, keep in mind that not all of these features are guaranteed to make it into the final release, and may be changed or removed. [list] [*] [h3]Photo Mode[/h3] Take beautiful screenshots of your islands and share them with your friends. We can't wait to see your creativity! [*] [h3]Creative Mode[/h3] The ability to build islands without limitations — it's all in your hands. [*] [h3]Gamepads and Steam Deck[/h3] We want you to be able to play wherever you're most comfortable — whether it’s on your cozy couch, in a comfy gamer chair, or even in a hammock in the trees with your Steam Deck. Your feedback is especially important so we can make sure the game works well on different devices! [*] [h3]macOS Support[/h3] We’re impressed by the new devices from Apple and want the game to run smoothly on them as well. Currently, a version for Apple Silicon is available, and we’re continuing to work on optimizing the game for an even smoother experience. [*] [h3]VR Version[/h3] This is a separate version of Dragon Spot. We think it will be interesting to experience the game world from a new perspective and see how well the game works in virtual reality. [*] [h3]Multiplayer[/h3] We plan to add the ability to play with friends in a cooperative mode, where you’ll be able to build and create islands together. There may be separate modes for this in the future. [*] [h3]Island Editor[/h3] Create unique islands that other players will be able to see and play on.
