In this next phase, one of the key differences is that we’ll be able to seek feedback from a wider group because there’s no need to keep things under wraps.[/p][p]Prior playtests have given us a lot of helpful insights into how Arkheron plays with small groups and in highly competitive spaces. We’re now working on how we can make Arkheron more approachable to a larger group of players. This means things like our matchmaking systems are still close to a prototype phase. Arkheron also has a bit of a learning curve and we’re working on how to smooth that out for new players as well. [/p][p]During this phase, we are still planning to experiment with various game mechanics and systems in Arkheron. Our team loves to throw ideas at the wall and see what sticks and what doesn’t. You may see work-in-progress content that isn’t final or limited prototypes of new things. This is part of the fun of the Alpha - we would love to get your feedback and offer the opportunity to help shape the game. [/p][p]Some of the key things we’re still exploring are our patch building processes, server scaling, regional support and game balance! And we’re still working on finishing planned parts of Arkheron - like adding future support for colorblind mode and other accessibility features. [/p][p]We are also super interested in seeing how the meta changes with more players and more game time. We believe the core loop of Arkheron is fun - and now we're figuring out how to make sure it's a smooth experience that provides the most fun possible from login to logout. This is our practice mode that lets you experiment with item combinations or jump into the sparring room for mini-matches up to 3v3 players. [/p][p][i]Ascension[/i] (Arkheron’s core game mode and the best way to experience our game!) will be up over the weekend from Friday through Sunday! Each region will have an allocated timeblock during each day. You’ll only be able to join the playtest during the allocated time period for your region. [/p][p]Alternatively, if someone from a different region invites you to join their party - you can join that region.
