The streets are a dangerous place. Because we make them so. For our game. It wouldn’t be fun if they were safe. I hope that your street is nice and calm! Hi, I’m Alex, the producer of Crimerunner. I wanted to say hello and outline what this project is, where it’s going, and also address some of your feedback on our trailer. But first, enjoy this new view of the city: [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42815352/1821b728fddca5cc445813a6ed7615884692c024.png[/img] Maybe you know by now that Crimerunner is the continuation of the Gangster Simulator project. We decided to evolve that game into something with more personality and faster, more focused gameplay. What came to life was different enough to warrant a more exciting title, hence Crimerunner was born. At first, we wanted to simply rename our Gangster Sim page, but after consulting with Steam we concluded that the project is different enough to warrant a new start. Gangster Simulator will be officially retired soon. Still, I hope this will be a game to conquer the hearts of both the gamers who waited for Gangster Sim and of everyone who’s looking for a good action title with simulation still present. You will still be able to decorate your hideout, there will be freedom in your actions, but also exciting chases where moving vertically can save your butt. We won’t have guns, that I can say already, because it wouldn’t be appropriate for a young criminal to turn into Max Payne and simply dispose of an enemy. We wanted something more exciting and at the same time less explicit. You’ll have to think, your reflexes will be tested, and it won’t be about who’s got the bigger gun. I saw your reactions to the trailer, which some of you took for a render that has nothing to do with the game. I take it as a compliment :) While the camera work is indeed directed, all the assets come directly from the game. We have a lot of work before us, so these updates won’t be too frequent until we have a game in a form that we want to show. But thanks for being here with us, and until next time!
