Fast-paced, roguelike bullet hell with deep, unique spellcrafting. Create and use overpowered, game-shattering spells by combining a multitude of magical elements. Defend Tokyo from a monstrous invasion using magic, reflexes, and game-changing combos.

Magic is an art. Sure, you may just use one of the standard solutions like many, many times before, but you may as well craft your own spells! This way, you may express your personality and fit the effects to your needs. Okay, but how to do that? In our spellcrafting system, we took a simple approach - give the player toys and tools and let them flow. You have to just arrange the modules together on a personal board and chain effects into what suits you best.
Be the spell you want to cast
Each spell starts with a caster. This part is responsible for WHEN you shoot. Do you like running? Use cast with movement and shoot a spell every time you travel a distance long enough. Or maybe you prefer to hide and barely move while dodging enemies' projectiles by millimetres? Try casting when idle. Are you mad each time you've got hit? Reflect it with a powerful cast with pain, which has no time restrictions at all - but it needs you to suffer to activate. And we have plenty to activate! A single, small, but reliable fireball? Sonic trap awaiting approaching enemies? Lightning raze, maybe a bit sloppy, but which can strike from behind the obstacles? You could use a sonic arrow that can shine when you arrange enemies in a straight line. It may not be the strongest, but it is solid, AND it can pierce through enemies on top of that. Or maybe you prefer the projectile to do all the aiming job for you? Pick chain lightning. It can bounce between enemies, affecting all of them. However, it might have some problems to keep the spell going. You could always deal solid damage with a lightning slash, however, you have to get really close to the enemies. So the spawners decide WHAT to shoot.
Effects on effects on top of… effects!
And on top of that, you can add some additional effects! More damage, burning, gaining additional essence, even healing - you could achieve a lot with the effects modules. If you want - you can use multiple effects at the same spawner. How about stacking damage on a sonic wave around your hero? Or maybe deal damage over time and add a bit of healing? There is a lot to discover. Each spell must have a caster and a spawner, but then you may add any other spawners and effects you want. For example, you may connect sonic wave to the fire breath to the lightning raze. With each hit there is a chance to propagate the spell! So, you may build your own sequencer if you want. There are, however, few restrictions. First of which is your board itself. Because you have to align modules by their inputs and outputs, physical space matters; be careful not to hit the corner mid-sequence! Second - you have to find the right modules in the everchanging shop. And even then, making your spell chain longer overloads your caster, making it slower and slower. Remember when I said there is a *chance* to advance the spell? Well, if it's too long to trigger until the end, maybe it's not worth the additional cooldown? But! Because you have the whole board to use, you could use multiple casters and make multiple spells! They may be short, but thanks to that - it's pretty fast! You could alternate between two spells - one for staying still that debuffs enemies and one for running to finish them off! But the casters take place themselves, ah!
Upgrade the spell or add another one? Why not both?
So maybe instead of prolonging your spell and adding new fancy effects, you prefer to upgrade them? No problem, just raise the tiers of the modules! It might be a bit tricky - you have to find multiple same modules to do that by merging. Two weaker ones to one more powerful. And if you don't have the same modules? If you feel adventurous, try to forge a mystery module of a higher tier from any modules you want. >>Pssst, there might be some secret combinations! But it’s a tale for the release, not the demo!<< Have you noticed a small "+" near some of the modules? You were lucky! They are especially powerful, so try to make good use of them! It can also make your module excellent by merging it with a shiny "+" one. And because each character is different, you may find different special bonuses on the board of every girl. Try to lead your spell through those slots to unlock its potential! Although it may seem a bit overwhelming, your trusty wand will guide you through the world of W.A.N.D. Project. And that's just the beginning of the possibilities we want to bring you. Let the magic begin!
