1. Jirou Beetle - The mighty beetle with Herculean strength
Introduction: A common giant beetle evolved by absorbing magical energy, possessing a hard shell and herculean strength. It can switch between bipedal and quadrupedal forms, has a violent temperament, and often conflicts with the Treants.
Taming Method: The Jirou Beetle is quite fond of honey jam made from magical tree resins. First, use bug repellent on yourself, then lure Jirou Beetle with the honey jam from behind. Next, slowly gaining its trust by feeding it the honey jam, and increasing the taming effectiveness by battling with the Treants.
Unique Feature: Its feces can accelerate the growth of magical plants, increasing their attack speed and damage.
Combat Ability: Can switch between attack and defense forms, with attacks that include knockback effects, and defense that is immune to most knockbacks.
2. Saurolophus - The swift and powerful hadrosaurid
Introduction: A herbivorous hadrosaurid dinosaur. Its large size, strong carrying capacity, and fast movement speed make it an excellent carrying mount. It will attack humans and small to medium-sized carnivores that get too close but will flee from larger carnivores.
Taming Method: First bring a group of at least 5 tamed parasaurs to the Saurolophus to gain its trust, and you can feed it with Saurolophus Kibble made from 50 wheat, 10 thatch, and 20 carrots. After eating, it will roam around without attacking any creatures. You need to protect it from harm for a certain period. After the timer ends, feed it another batch of Saurolophus Kibble to tame it.
Unique Feature: Reduces inventory weight, can carry even more with saddle equipped.
Combat Ability: Can bite, shoulder tackle, assume a defensive stance, and roar to boost ally defense and scare off wild creatures.
3. Anomalocaris - The ancient predator of the primordial seas
Introduction: Anomalocaris was one of Earth's earliest dominant predators, ruling the ancient oceans 500 million years ago, long before the dinosaurs appeared. It had a pair of stalked eyes, a large mouth with circularly arranged teeth, giant segmented forelimbs for capturing prey, and rows of side plates for swift swimming. Its striking tail fin and long tail fork enabled it to turn flexibly in water. In Pixark, while it's not the top predator, its swift swimming and formidable attack abilities ensure it holds its own in the perilous ocean environment.
Taming Method: Use a tamed large marine creature to approach Anomalocaris which will immediately start to attack. During the process, Anomalocaris may trigger a parasitic skill, attaching to the large marine creature. At this point, players can approach and feed it. After feeding, it will detach and start attacking again. Repeat this process to tame Anomalocaris.
Unique Feature: Shoulder pet; it can cling to the player’s shoulder, significantly increasing swimming speed and mobility. Its shared-breathing feature allows the player to avoid consuming oxygen underwater and prevents the creature from suffocating on land. In addition, its chromatic camouflage reduces the detection range from wild animals by making the player and Anomalocaris semi-transparent.
Combat Ability: Can bite, swipe, entangle, and use chromatic camouflage to lower detection chances.
4. Stormweaver - The arachnid master of storms
Basic Introduction: The Stormweaver is a magical beast resembling a giant jumping spider with wind attributes It is incredibly agile and has excellent jumping ability, occasionally using wind magic to fly. Typically, it doesn't attack players or most ordinary creatures but preys on small magical beings, especially those rich in magical stone essences. It has three magic slots on its back, storing wind element energy for three tornadoes. After taming, players can place various elemental cores in these slots to release different types of tornadoes.
Taming Method: First, lure the Stormweaver to release all its wind energy. Then, approach it and feed it magic stones. Once it is full, embed three elemental cores into its slots to complete the taming process. The cores can be of wind, water, fire, earth, or lightning attributes. The type of core used during taming determines the tornado attribute it can release. Once embedded, cores cannot be removed or replaced.
Unique Feature: It possesses levitation and wind abilities, providing a tailwind buff for allies.
Combat Ability: bite, air cannons, wind shields, gusts, and storm tornadoes for attack and defense.
5. Luminara - The radiant avian beacon of light
Introduction: Luminara was created by extracting DNA from various creatures such as Argentavis, Gryphons, bone creatures, and ghost dragons, then mutating it with cobalt energy to form a new prototype creature with powerful radiation abilities. When Luminara stays in one place for an extended period, it transforms the land into cobalt land. Initially, the cobalt aliens planned to use these birds to transform the entire land of Pixark. However, they discovered that the land reverted back after Luminara left, leading them to abandon the plan. As a result, the remaining Luminaras were left on Skyward.
Taming Method: Defeat wild Luminara in a battle to obtain them in egg form. The eggs will hatch and bond with you, resulting in a domesticated Luminara with the same attributes as the wild one.
Unique Feature:
- Immortal: transforms into a glowing egg when HP drops to 0, which can be hatched again.
- Radiation: converts plant seeds in its inventory into irradiated seeds, greatly increasing plant yield.
Combat Ability: peck, cobalt energy beams, and cobalt energy fields to boost attack and defense, causing radiation damage.
