Our first post-release patch, and so soon too! Fortunately, the game wasn't BROKEN, there were just some early feedback matters that needed tweaking.
[b]Fixes:[/b]
- Picking up meat on the ground could be a bit finnicky. The detection hitbox has been enlarged significantly, and an oversight that could cause Erma to ignore food even when in range has been corrected.
- The "look far" keybinding button did not work due to a misassigned value.
[b]Tweaks:[/b]
- Erma's turning radius has been tightened up by a good bit. I wanted to keep the feeling of inertia and the skill mastery required to chase down small prey efficiently, while also making her a bit more responsive to control.
- To the same end, she now makes 180 degree turns even faster. This is especially noticeable when taking off from a standstill.
- A "toggle sprint" option was added to the control menu. This does about what you'd imagine; by default you hold shift to sprint, but with this option turned on, you instead press shift to toggle between walking and sprinting.
