Our glorious leader, Burt Biscuit has passed on the below-classified footage, showing new features you can look forward to during the Honey, I Joined A Cult in the v1.0 update on November 3rd. 📅 Feast your eyes upon its glory and bask in its light! [u][b][h3]Difficulty Settings[/h3][/b][/u] Community feedback that we have received during Early Access has been that the balance and difficulty of the game has required some tweaking. We have listened to these issues some players have raised and implemented a fully customisable Difficulty Settings screen! 🔧 [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32574327/adeaf753f566e528aad4eb60c3ef629c70ae2068.gif[/img] The Difficulty settings screen will be available when you start a new game during the Cult Customisation screen, and can also be found at any time during gameplay via the Pause menu, so you can adjust the settings mid-game if you find the game too easy, or too difficult. We still have the standard default option available as before, aswell as a more relaxed option to make things like resource gathering slightly faster, research progress faster, items cost less, cultist's moods easier to manage and increase the rate that Heat cools down. 🔥 We also have introduced a harder setting too, for players who desire more of a challenge in their cult management, which will make Heat decrease slower, research takes longer and gives items a higher purchase cost and makes missions slightly harder. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32574327/02ddbb5d4f8abc83371167c0d1e0e9c60acd2cb3.png[/img] [u][b][h3]Sandbox Playstyle[/h3][/b][/u] You can also go for a more Sandbox playstyle, by adjusting the sliders manually on the Custom setting and ticking the boxes to automatically unlock all the Research items, Divine Inspiration options and all additional game items 🔓 [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/32574327/4a687f4de0ca01d1dbd67d670c47e8f990394711.png[/img] Again, with the Custom difficulty mode, you can tailor all of these options to your personal preference, so have resource generation be a lot faster, while having mission difficulty increased and research speed slower, meaning you can have a totally unique play experience! [b]As a warning, some of these options will disable the ability to unlock Steam achievements!
