Sentry Knight Tactics

Sentry Knight Tactics is a charming, cute action-strategy RPG adventure. Set in a land under siege by a transdimensional evil, you command your team of powerful heroes through various realms as you slaughter enemy hordes, complete quests, upgrade your gear and save the world.

The Sentry Knight Tactics launch went incredibly smooth! We're so excited people are enjoying the game and we can't wait to get time to watch content creators stream, speed run and make other cool stuff about our little game. We put a ton of hard work into it and we hope you love it as much as we do. With that said, I've been reading through the discussion threads and trying to get back to everyone that has suggestions or issues. One of the main issues seems to be the control scheme. Well fear not, my friends, for there is light at the end of this tunnel. I spent the day today implementing a brand new control scheme that feels a lot more natural and efficient to use. It works similarly in that you Left Click (or Tab Select) a Hero to activate them. But, instead of holding and dragging to command that Hero, you simply Right Click to either move them, attack an enemy, pick up a Loot Bag, etc. This will feel very familiar to those who are used to more traditional RTS (Starcraft, Warcraft, etc.) controls and commands. The reason we went with both Left and Right clicks to perform an action is because if everything was bound to the Left Click (moving, attacking AND selecting a Hero), there's a chance the player would be attempting to attack an enemy and then he/she clicked another Hero, thus resulting in a Hero selection instead of a Hero command attack. So, differentiating the selection click and the command click solves that issue. Please be aware that this new control scheme is automatically set as the default control scheme for users who are first starting the game. If you've already started the game before and have a settings file saved in your Documents/Senrty Knight Tactics/ folder, you'll have to toggle the new control scheme from the Settings > Controls menu! If you liked the click and drag control scheme, you can keep it or swap back to it whenever. If you discover a bug with the new control scheme, please report it as soon as possible! Swapping back to the old control scheme would fix any potential control issues, if any are encountered. Along with the new control scheme, we also decided to add a custom cursor that can be toggled through Settings > Gameplay. The custom cursor is enabled by default for everyone, whether they've started the game before or not. It's easier to see than the regular operating system cursor and can also be color swapped, if you want something more vibrant than the default white! For this patch, and all future patches, the in-game Changelog can be accessed from the Main Menu in the lower right hand corner. It will usually contain a more detailed description of additions, changes and fixes!
Closing Notes
Thank you guys for everything! Please continue posting feedback, suggestions, bugs, whatever. I read everything and will likely reply to and address as much as I possibly can.
