Greetings, adventurers!
We hope you enjoyed playing our demo of Greedventory during this Steam Next Fest!
We looked at the feedback you guys provided us with during this demo, and made some gameplay tweaks to make the entire experience more enjoyable and balanced!
Here are some patch notes for the newest demo:
- Improved flask deflection: now flasks no longer get destroyed when you hold block (which felt random) on it's path and can be deflected a lot easier and stop feeling clunky
- Improved parrying for all enemies - it should feel better now and easier to perform
- Fixed stagger time after parry for all enemies, now you'll get a bit of breathing time to make your heavy attacks!
- Enemy damage made less brutal but still challenging
- Bleed damage caused by the halfling throwing knife reduced
- Fixed zero stamina behavior, when players couldn't raise their shield for too long when stamina is fully depleted. It was just a prolonged game over in most of the cases, which was not intended
- Fixed the unintended effect where the loot dropped from the inventory was not saved. No more robbery by the greedy townsfolk!
- You can now get some healing potions from pillaging dead enemies found deep in the labs
- Charging strong strikes timings improved to feel better and more natural
- Bearded mutant had way overpowered damage buff when his allies gets healed, buff is reduced to 20%
- Fixed mad enemies that wouldn't stop attacking for a second!
- Attack points are telegraphed more clearly with a new visual helper!
We are extremely thankful for your candid feedback, are working hard to make sure we address it to make your gameplay experience more enjoyable, and we cannot wait to hear more of your thoughts for Greedventory! <3
