The scheduling algorithm has been improved to make sure each team in the group has roughly n/2 home matches in a single round-robin format, such as in the ASEAN Championship Cup, where each team is expected to play 2 home and 2 away matches. However, this method may not hold up well when the group size exceeds 10 teams.
