Greetings Mech Pilots, time for another [b]Drop Command[/b] progress update!

[u][b]Audio[/b][/u]
Our biggest focus since the last update has been adding [b]game audio[/b]. This includes a new soundtrack, weapon and combat SFX, and a combat computer voice. [b][i]All Systems: Operational.[/i][/b]
[u][b]New Biomes[/b][/u]
Introducing three new biomes to spice up combat across the star cluster:

[*] [b]Volcanic/Ashlands[/b]: a desolate wasteland with high heat and poor visibility from volcanic ashfall
[*] [b]Archipelago[/b]: an island paradise peaking above the waves of a water world
[*] [b]Megafauna Graveyard[/b]: ancient corpses of spaceborn megafauna litter the planets of the Hyades Cluster

As part of the Archipelago biome, we have added water to [b]Drop Command[/b]. Units in water will have a much reduced movement speed, making them easy targets when caught out crossing a river. However, Mechs can sink heat much faster while submerged, so that entering water is a double edged sword.
[u][b]Updated Launch Date[/b][/u]
We are excited to announce we are close to release for Drop Command! We previously had a placeholder date of January 1st. Development has progressed to the point where we are close to the final stages, and we can confidently state our release plans. Keep your eyes to the sky, for Dropships inbound! [b]We are updating the launch date to November 2025.[/b]
