We’re hard at work pushing Arms of God forward, and the progress has been super exciting. We’re working on several things simultaneously, and today we’d like to share the progress we’ve made over the past few weeks. A huge thank you to everyone who played the Alpha Demo and shared their feedback! We’ve carefully gone through it and will do our best to reflect your needs in the ongoing development.
[h2]Act One: The City Ruins and the Path to the Cathedral[/h2]
The game will be divided into four acts, and today we’d like to show you a new concept art for the first one.

The player's initial goal will be to make their way through the ruins of a city and reach the Cathedral, which will serve as the hub for meta-progression and the starting point for future challenges. Below, you’ll find an early screenshot from one of the levels.

[h2]UI Updates[/h2]
From the beginning, we knew the UI in our game would be something we’d iterate on until launch, and this month was no different. We’ve improved the readability a bit and updated the visuals for the parchment and background elements.
Additionally, we’re working on expanding the Character Tab and its skill tree, but we’ll share more about that in the next update!

[h2]New Character[/h2]
We’re also testing new abilities for upcoming heroes. The next character will have access to [b]a Blink ability[/b], which works similarly to the Dodge, but with greater movement range and more control. However, use it wisely, as it comes at the cost of a longer cooldown.

[h2]Camera Changes[/h2]
One of the significant updates we made was [b]adjusting the camera position[/b]. It’s now closer to a true isometric view, making it easier to control your surroundings from every angle.
[h2]New Gameplay Mechanic[/h2]
We’re currently working on [b]a new, key gameplay mechanic[/b]. For now, we don’t want to reveal too much, but the plan is for this mechanic to make its debut in the next closed beta tests (you’ll be able to sign up via our Discord [url=https://discord.com/invite/QeUqjGFCYb]here[/url]).
