First and foremost, thanks to all of you for a wonderful release day yesterday! The response has been amazing and I'm so glad folks are enjoying the game. You have blown us away!
I have a couple quick updates out for the first 24 hours, mostly relating to better serving weaker or older machines:
[list]
[*] Patched a bug where stuff wasn't saving for users who have special characters in their Steam names. Bigger fix with character validation coming later; for now if you create a username stick to alphanumeric characters.
[*] Fixed a bug where using the arrow keys in solve mode super duper early in the game caused an endless while loop and crash. Coding rites of passage bingo card, check.
[*] For weaker machines, you now have the option to try playing without the graphical bells and whistles, using "Lowest Quality" mode from Settings - Graphics.
[*] For the Vulkan error (crashing caused by older/integrated graphics cards) you can try putting "--rendering-driver opengl3" in the Steam launch options (without quotes). This has largely solved things for at least a few users in the Discord. Thank you to Plurmorant for this suggestion.
[*] Added a resolution scale to settings. This can be used to reduce the impact on your machine by up to 75%, at a significant cost to visual quality.
