It's been roughly a month since the last update of Gym Tycoon. I've worked hard to get the next update ready for you all to enjoy, so let's get right into it! [h2]This Update[/h2] I've been calling this update the "Content Update" for a while now. It is the first step in making the game more enjoyable to play for a longer time. This update brings a lot more furniture to the game, including 6 new exercise machines and 8 decorative items. One major technical task I had to do was to add support to walls to allow attaching items on them (like the new paintings, mirror and TV). This refactor should also fix a rare crash bug that could happen when demolishing walls. Finally, the game now has better environmental lighting including real time sky reflections and a better day/night cycle. [h2]What's Next?[/h2] First, I want to take a little break of about a week. I've been working through the holiday season without a pause and I kind of feel that now. There will however, be some smaller updates to fix problems and/or update translations. After the break, I will start work on the 2nd big update (which I named the "Feature Update"), in which I aim to introduce a player character and staff for your gym! After the feature update, I might either work on an improvement update or another feature update for bars, but that's something for me to decide in the future.
