Hello Flynguineers! Patch 0.2.21 is now available! We are excited to share this update with you as there have been several enhancements to the game's look as well as some optimizations and some gameplay adjustments. We invite all our closed beta testers to try out the changes! You might want to create a new profile in order to take advantage of the extra income available from picking up the Fish Power Up and saving you'll get when buying items as costs are cheaper! The full change log is below. [list] [*] Launch level now pre-loads the track before launch, so you can see the world ahead with it's interactive objects before starting your penguin's flight. [*] Added sound effects to Fish Power Up. Includes a sound 1 second before it ends to let you know it's about to run out. [*] Fish Power Up will also double your income while active. [*] Reduced Equippable Object costs from (1,400; 4,100; 9,000; 17,000; 31,000; 54,000; 91,000; 150,000; 240,000; 390,000;) to (1,400; 3,900; 8,300; 15,000; 27,000; 46,000; 75,000; 120,000; 190,000; 300,000). [*] Updated the Icon file. [*] Adjusted lighting in all levels to be more consistent and more Antarctic-ish. [*] Adjusted color correction on all levels. [*] Fixed Reset Default Key-binds not adding Left and Right Arrow Keys to Move Penguin Left and Right action mappings. [*] When mousing over the Penguin to rotate him, the base will light up. [*] You can click on the penguin in the Penguin Designer window to spin him around. [*] You can click on the penguin/Explosive in the Shop Menu Loadout windows to spin him/it around. [*] You can click on the penguin in the Base Camp top menu to spin him around. [*] Added Gameplay Music. Music will dynamiclly play transitioning between Flight, Space and Sliding themes as your penguin flies. [*] Added color unsaturation effect upon death. [*] Added color and vignette effects when passing through objects. [*] Added ambience sound effects to Main Menu. [*] Added ambience sound effects to the Base Camp. [*] Added ambience sound effects to the pre-launch stage. [*] Adjusted Slow Time effect when interacting with objects. [*] Fixed a bug where hitting a Boost-Pad or snow bump while landing, would prevent the penguin from bouncing back up. [*] Pressing U while in the Main Menu will bring up Unit Stats. [*] Changed cloud positions to not be on top of the track any more.
